About this hat
Granite is the shade on the Mason 4X, a mid-gray that pairs with blue, black and brown alike. The 4X quality wool felt is formed into a 4 1/4 inch cattleman crown over a brim of the same 4 1/4 inch width.
A wool felt hat band in the same color carries the rowel concho. Inside: leather sweatband, satin liner. Stetson builds it by hand at home and boxes it.

Wool felt is sturdy but dislikes heat and soaking, so let a wet Mason dry slowly away from a heater. Brush it with a soft brush, and give the sweatband a week or two to settle before deciding on fit.
