Part of Stetson's five-hat set for the 250th anniversary of 1776, this Open Road keeps the familiar profile: a low 4 1/4-inch cattleman crown over a 2 3/4-inch bound-edge brim. The 6X fur felt has a solid, stiff feel in the hand, so the crease stays sharp.
What changes is the detail. A USA brand hat pin with inset stones rides on the grosgrain band, and a USA 250 satin liner covers the crown inside, above a genuine leather sweatband.
