About this hat
The Wildcatter stands taller than most hats on our wall. Its 5-inch cattleman crown is hand-shaped with mule kicks pressed in at the back, and the 4-inch brim has a bound edge and a heavy curve. The Silverbelly felt is hand-distressed, so it looks lived-in from the first wear.
Stetson builds it by hand in Texas from 6X fur felt. A grosgrain band carries a JBS brand pin, and inside you'll find a co-branded leather sweatband and a full satin liner. It ships in the Stetson box, in fitted sizes 6 7/8 to 7 3/4.

Fit & care
Brush fur felt counterclockwise with a soft horsehair brush and keep it out of hot cars. The distressing is part of the design, so skip any attempt to restore it to a uniform finish. Set it on its crown or a hat rack so the curved brim keeps its shape.
