About this hat
On straw, a higher X number generally points to a finer, tighter weave, and 20X sits at the top of the grades on our straw shelf. That density is why the Classic 20X Straw looks smooth, almost polished, in its Ivory/Wheat color.
The 4 1/8-inch cattleman crown is vented to keep air moving. A 4 1/4-inch brim gives generous shade. Trim stays restrained: a grosgrain band and a JBS brand hat pin. Genuine leather lines the regular oval block, and each one is crafted by hand in the USA, in sizes 6 3/4 to 7 3/4.

Fine straw is lighter and a little less forgiving of crushing, so give it its own spot on a shelf or in a hat box. Lift it by the brim, front and back, not by pinching the crown. A leather sweatband will settle to your head within a few wears.
