About this hat
Thunder takes 10X shantung straw in Ivory Gray and presses it into a vented cattleman crown 4 1/8 inches tall, so heat has somewhere to go. The 4 1/4-inch brim gives honest shade without catching every gust.
Trim is minimal. A 2-ply cord hat band runs around the crown, anchored by a JBS brand pin, and a genuine leather sweatband lines the inside. Expect a regular oval and a fitted range of 6 3/4 to 7 3/4. It sells for $210, and the hat is made by hand in America.
