About this hat
So-called Panama hats have always come from Ecuador, and this one is no exception. The body is Grade 20 Panama straw, hand-woven there and then blocked and trimmed in Texas. The shape follows the Open Road, a model Stetson first released in 1937.
You get a 4 inch low cattleman crown on a regular oval and a 2 3/4 inch short brim with a slight curve. A grosgrain hatband carries a premium crystal JBS brand pin, and the sweatband is genuine leather. It arrives in a premier Stetson hat box.
- Color: Panama
- Sizes 6 3/4 to 7 3/4

Fit & care
Toquilla straw should never be pinched at the crown, which is where hand-woven Panamas crack first. Lift it by the brim, keep it away from soaking rain and store it in its box with the crown supported.
Shipping & returns
Orders ship from the US within 1-2 business days and usually arrive in 3-6 business days. Every hat travels in a crush-proof box. Changed your mind? Send it back unworn within 30 days. Read the returns policy.
A Panama straw belongs on a linen suit at a garden party or a summer trip abroad. It's the most refined straw cowboy hat in this group, and an excellent swap for the disco cowboy hats once the bachelorette weekend is over.
