About this hat
Hair-on-calf is leather with the short hide hair left on, so the band has texture and pattern you will not get from smooth leather. On the Angus 10X Straw it is finished with a single diamond-shaped concho.
The hat itself is 10X quality shantung in Natural with a 4 3/8-inch cattleman crown and eyelets for venting. The brim measures 4 inches. It is blocked to a W oval, the wider shape for round heads, and fitted sizes start at 6 5/8 and go up to 7 3/4. Real leather lines the sweatband, and the whole hat is put together by hand on American soil.

Brush the hair-on-calf band in the direction of the hair with a soft, dry brush, and keep it away from water. Wide oval sizing should sit evenly at the temples; if it rocks front to back, try a regular oval instead. Store it crown-down.
