About this hat
Low crowns are easy to wear, especially in a truck cab or under a low porch roof, and Wakefield is built around one. The 4 1/8-inch low cattleman crown sits on a regular oval with eyelets punched in for airflow, while the 4 1/4-inch brim curves moderately.
Body material is 10X shantung straw in Natural. The hatband is pick-stitch tooled leather fastened with a three-piece silver-tone buckle set, a dressier touch than most straws get. A DRI-LEX absorbent sweatband handles summer heat. Every Wakefield is made by hand in America, in sizes from 6 3/4 up to 7 3/4.

Fit & care
Straw sizes do not stretch the way felt can, so pick your true size and use foam tape for fine-tuning. Keep the Wakefield out of standing water and away from the dash, where heat can warp the brim. Store it crown down or on a hook that holds the inside band.
