About this hat
Coal Mine is what you reach for when you want the look of a black felt in July. The 10X shantung straw comes in Black, pressed to a 4 1/8-inch cattleman crown over a regular oval. Out front, a medium curl shapes the 4 1/4-inch brim.
Trim stays understated: a 2-ply grosgrain hatband and a JBS brand pin. The DRI-LEX absorbent sweatband helps on humid nights at outdoor shows. Fitted sizing starts at 6 3/4 and tops out at 7 3/4, and Stetson builds it by hand in Texas-style tradition here at home. Dark straw does absorb more sun than natural, so it shines brightest as an evening hat.
