About this hat
Look at the Jasper 20X Straw in profile and the brim tells you what it is for. The 4 1/4-inch shovel front drops a little at the front, pulling shade down over the eyes the way arena riders like it. Overall height stays down thanks to a low cattleman crown of 4 1/8 inches.
It is built on a long oval block, so it fits heads that are deeper front to back than they are wide. A studded leather hatband adds some grit, and a DRI-LEX absorbent sweatband handles the sweat. Natural shantung, American handmade, fitted sizing between 6 3/4 and 7 3/4.
