About this hat
The feather comes off when you want it to, which is handy if one hat has to cover both a garden party and a feed store run. The band underneath is grosgrain with a woven overlay, and a small star-shaped pin holds the look together.

Take the feather off before storing the hat in a box so the quill does not bend. If the letter size feels loose, a thin foam strip behind the sweatband fixes it. Keep the straw dry, and store it crown-down to protect the brim edge.
