About this hat
Dark blue shantung looks sharp with white shirts and khaki alike, and it shows dust less than pale straw. The crown is a 4 1/4-inch pinch front teardrop, rounded at the back and narrowing to the front pinch.
The 3 1/2-inch brim flares slightly and has an overwelt edge, where the brim is folded up and stitched on top for a finished border. Trim includes a woven hatband, a horseshoe hat pin and a removable feather. DRI-LEX handles sweat, and the hat is handmade in America. Letter sizing: S, M, L, XL.

Dark straw can fade in strong sun over a long season, so store it out of a bright window when you are not wearing it. Remove the feather before packing, and keep the flared brim from pressing against a suitcase wall. If you are between letter sizes, size up and add a foam insert.
