About this hat
An open crown is a straw left unshaped on top, which gives you a choice: wear it round and tall for an old-time look, or have a hatter steam in the crease you want. At 5 3/4 inches with venting, there is plenty of material to work with.
The 4 1/4-inch brim comes flat, ready to be curled or left level. Fine 20X shantung in Natural, a grosgrain hat band and a JBS brand pin keep it traditional. Its regular oval block carries an absorbent DRI-LEX band, and the hat is made by hand in the US. Men and women can choose sizes 6 3/4 to 7 3/4.
