About this hat
A quarter-inch more brim than the usual 4 1/4 makes a difference when the sun sits overhead. The Southpoint's 4 1/2-inch brim throws extra shade over the face and the back of the neck, and the vented 4 1/8-inch cattleman crown keeps air moving above.
The body is 10X quality shantung straw in Natural, built on a regular oval. Its tooled leather hat band closes with a silver-tone buckle set of three pieces, and a leather sweatband lines the inside. Stetson cuts it unisex, hand-builds it domestically and sizes it from 6 3/4 through 7 3/4. Ranch work, lake days and long outdoor festivals are where it earns its keep.

Fit & care
A wider straw brim is more prone to curling if it is left brim-down, so always rest it on the crown. Keep it out of hot cars and let it dry naturally if it gets caught in rain. Wipe the leather sweatband after a sweaty day so salt does not stiffen it.
