About this hat
Most straws in this batch top out near four inches of crown. The Thunder 10X Open Crown Straw goes to a full 5 inch vented open crown, leaving room for a tall cattleman or a deep pinch once it gets shaped.
Its brim measures 4 1/4 inches on a long oval. Ivory Gray is the color, a cool off-white that reads softer than bright white in photos. Outside there's a 2-ply cord band with a JBS brand pin, inside a genuine leather sweatband. The straw is 10X shantung, handmade in the U.S.A.
